Before you click on the "Blog Posting" link, you can read the transcript of the video of the Week further down this page.
These links will open a new tab in your internet browser.
We have added a FaceBook page for this group. You are free to join the group.
After you watch the video and read the study notes below, answer these questions here on the Fellowship Project Blog Posting link on this page:
1. Talk about the Golden Rule. How well do you follow the Biblical implication of this?
2. Discuss: God's reward system of reaping and sowing?
3. Discuss: Matthew 7:12. In what ways can you implement that in your life.
4. Discuss: Colossians 3:17 as a representative of Christ and how we have to watch what we say and do. He's going to reward us for the way we carry ourselves.
5. Talk about reaping a harvest and how you can start today. What is God saying to you about this, and how do we come together with God to see this manifest in our lives?
6. Talk about the gifts that God gives. He outdoes what we offer or sacrifice. Share some examples of that in your life.
There is a Reward for Everything You Do
"He's not going to rip you off. He's not going to reward you less than what it cost you. He's constantly going to outdo anything that you do."
~ Dr. Kevin L. Zadai
After you watch the video and read the study notes on this page, answer these questions here on the Blog mentioned above:
And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
—Colossians 3:17 (NKJV)
DISCUSSION:
When I was on the operating table, Jesus said to me, "Everything that you do for me counts." It's being recorded, and there's a reward for it as well. It helped to encourage me that it counts when you make a sacrifice for your family and friends for the sake of Jesus. Jesus received His reward for what He did, and you're going to receive your reward for what you do. People are watching, so we have to display the Gospel as something better than what the world offers.
Paul told the Colossians, "Whatever you do or say, do it as a representation of the Lord Jesus Christ, giving thanks to Him, and God the Father." Do it as though you're an ambassador, representing Jesus on the Earth as if He were here.
Matthew 7:12 (NLT): "Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets.
The Golden Rule is whatever you do to others, then it's going to come back to you. The reward is that you reap what you sow because God is not mocked.
• You will receive a harvest from what you sow. You should want to sow good things into others and God.
• He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (see Hebrews 11:6).
• God is a good Father, and He's going to treat you better than any earthly father would.
• It's hard for some of us because we haven't experienced positive things from our earthly Father's in our life. We don't have anything to judge it by, so we have to go by the Word of God.
• Live by the Golden Rule and know that the angels are recording your actions and that you're going to get a reward for everything you do. The Bible talks about the rewards of God.
• The biggest reward you can get is when you please God. When He smiles upon you, beams of light come from Him and hit you. It's His favor shining upon you.
• He will not rip you off or reward you with less than what it cost you.
• He's going to outdo anything that you do. You cannot out give God in any way.
• People think of money as the only way to give, but you can give your time.
• God is a good God. No matter what you go through in life, He understands, and He's looking at your heart.
• You can pray and ask God to use you to encourage someone else when you go to church.
• If you are giving sacrificially or giving to help others, He is keeping track.
• Yield to the goodness of God.
• Yield to the thought that He's not going to let you run dry.
• He's not going to let you diminish because He's a God who causes a harvest to come.

PRAYER:
Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you for your power and your Spirit. I thank you, Lord God, that there are all kinds of provision coming supernaturally because you want us to be a distribution center for you. In other words, you trust us with wealth and riches because you know that we'll distribute it. You trust us with giving out and not having our own agenda, knowing that no matter what we give out, we cannot out give you.
I thank you, Father, that you will give seed to the sower, that you'll give all the provision, whether it be for food and water and all those things, or if it would be finances or if it's just time. Lord, there's many people that are professionals that they could sow a portion of their professional business time for consulting people and helping people. But they could sow that too as well, and it doesn't have to be money, but it could be time, or it could be services and that Lord, whatever it is, you speak to the people and all our family all over the world. And Father, I thank you for the anointing and a yoke-breaking power right now in the name of Jesus.
I thank you that everyone right now receives a revelation that you are a rewarder. You are a rewarder, and you will reward in the name of Jesus. I thank you for the release. That the people will not operate in fear and hold back any longer, but that they'll give each other to each other and build up.
The body of Christ, until we become unified in the faith and mature in Jesus' name, Amen.
